Day 107

Today I got to do something cool.... I did this once last year too.
Each year, I do an event called , "Cross the Line" , where I bring the business and entertainment community together to mix and mingle..... we do some prizes and some surprises each year.... no exception this year ! Our event is Friday, Jan. 18th, 6:30-8:30 at the Showboat in Atlantic City.

Last year, I started the NORTH STAR AWARDS, given to 3 people ( one charitable group and 2 others) that have helped my company grow in some way, and that are community minded .

One of the things that I do, is I purchase "energy stones". I do this by just looking at them and picking a stone that seems to me to fit the award recipient. Then, I look up the meaning of the stone etc.... and make an award based on the stone's energy for each recipient. A day before the event, I rub the stones with an essential oil called BALANCE OIL. It is also great to rub onto your hands..... THAT I do more often than once a year.  Rubbing the stones is calming and meditating for me..... It's very cool. ( at least to me). I also think it's different and I'm all about that.

You can get this great essential oil and other oils from a wonderful place.... The company is doTERRA....

Day 106

Ok.... I think I am caught up now.... LOL

Today, I had the wonderful and fortunate opportunity to meet a very talented artist. Not only is she beautiful on the outside but she is beautiful on the inside and what she brings to the canvas is amazing.
My company represents a couple of artists and today I want to feature the difference and the beauty in both of these artists..... William is represented by our Company. Monica is someone I just met today and got the pleasure of seeing her new studio and her work..... I saw both of their Art today and it made me feel great !

First , there is abstract artist, William McKensie....... The longer you look at one of his pieces, the more intriguing it gets.... the more personal it gets.... and you can see the beauty in whatever you are feeling when you do that......

                             

                                   
William has been painting for as long as he can remember and his abstract work, among others, is truly inspiring....

Next, we have  Monica Zane..... such a beautiful spirit...... She has never taken an art lesson in her life. She actually sees her entire painting in her mind and then just paints it as the finished product she sees in her head. Also truly inspiring work.... she also does burned wood art that is very interesting......
Monica just opened a shop in Avalon and is going to set up some cool things there throughout the year such as book readings, book signings and other cultural fun events. Keeping an apartment both in New York and in Avalon is giving Monica an artistic view of life from one side of the coast to another...... You may even get to see it in her up coming screen-play...... you never know !

I certainly enjoyed spending my few minutes viewing both William's and Monica's Art today....
Just a hint, At my event Friday evening at the Showboat Atlantic City..... maybe, if you are lucky, you can have a chat with Monica who is expected to stop by...... or win a piece of Art donated by William......

Day 105

So today was going to be an "on-line" adventure day again. Wanted to see what I would find new....

Instead, I fell asleep over the lap top and I was going to blog about that as being something I didn't do that often............but that would be a lie !   Hahahahahahaha

What I  CAN  say, is that I woke up at 5AM with a headache...... that's something I haven't done in awhile.

As you can see , the challenge is challenging for me too. That's the idea, to get us moving in a different direction, maybe thinking differently...... the last few days have all run together so let's get caught up and see some great things...... do some great things......

Day 103

Today I got invited to a taping of a friend, and author, of mine. It was really cool. We were a small group invited to view a taping being sent into a major company for my friend to speak..... It just works out well that he has a lot to say...................LOL  We were taping at the   BUSINESS EXCELLENCE CENTERS  in E.H.T.    New Jersey..........check them out for your next meeting space or event.

I'm talking about the author of "You can get the Truth".........."you can fix the world"............

Joe Fedison is one of my author buddies that I am so proud of. He is so passionate about the understanding of ASKING QUESTIONS......

I remember growing up, my Dad would always say there are no stupid questions. You have to always ask questions when you don't understand something.... even when you do and you need to know more.....

Where did we go wrong where people have stopped finding out the truth?  Ask Questions...... and learn how to ask the right questions at the right time and in front of an audience......right , Joe????

So I spent an hour doing something so cool and being honored to be a part of it..... I really enjoyed all the feedback and the taping, it was awesome !

Day 102

Wow....the days and months keep going faster and faster.....what is up with that ????    Hahahaha

So today I got to do something I don't do that often.....that is get together with a long time friend that I haven't seen in awhile...... Now this is NO AVERAGE WOMAN mind you, this is designer, blogger, and radio host SANDI TUTTLE.  I was actually on her radio show last year and she has invited me back at the end of February to discuss our publishing department....How exciting is that !  Sandi Hosts

Day 101

So today I took a chill pill when I finally got home. I wanted to take my 5-10 min and just relax.... what I did was to re-focus on my vision board.....

Going to put some shots in here and if you take a look, see where some of these things relate to your world...
I enjoyed really seeing what's on there. I have it so I see it everyday but it's just like hearing something and listening to something...... seeing it or really looking at it..... It was fun....

                                   I love seeing the "Believe Now", "Opportunity Knocks", "Armed and Fabulous"
to name a few..... I love my fashionistas too although you can't wee them that well....how about "Catch the
Excitement"......and "Shine"...... LOVE IT.... and of course my brand, the "eyes" and my partners of Foxx Code.....

                                I love this especially as the 'S' at the bottom belongs to something else but if you think about it you could use it in this shot as CHANGES..... Really means the same thing in this case.....
NEW UNLIKELY CHANGE   OR    CHANGES..... Hahahahaha

                  and last but not least...... "Body Language"..... it amazes me how some people use their body language to just turn us right off...... If not that, they are turning themselves off and closing up the chances for positive opportunity......

I love to read body language... I'm no expert, but I can certainly tell if someone is open and happy by the way they use their body when they speak, greet you, etc......

I hope you have your own vision board. It feels so good when you look at what you have there. If you don't have one, start one. Put things on it that are YOU, that are positive and that give you forward direction .
