Eyes on your Feet?????

Hello and welcome to Memorial Day Weekend.....

Hope you are all having a great time wherever you are spending that time !

So... let's talk "Eyes on your Feet"....

With the Brilliance of Artist Terrence Kingg and Video master Marco Panting ( the Mister)...

"Eyes on your feet " comes to life after over 5 years of being in my imagination ! Thank you boys ! Now let's do this !!!

So "Eyes on your Feet" is an ongoing campaign to keep us aware of the ever growing cases of Brain Cancer and Death from Brain Cancer.  Many of you know that I lost my Mom ( We, my whole family lost....) to Brain Cancer 8 years ago.... 5 months later, we lost Dad and thanks to a subliminal message from one of my sports favs Kareem Abdul -Jabbar, I started the eeFuerst Foundation for Brain Cancer Research. Within a month, I had the full support of the National Brain Tumor Society.

Located in the heart of Boston, Mass. , the National Brain Tumor Society is there for not only support, yet to raise awareness and find a hope to better deal with  the 144 different kinds of brain tumors that exist.
6 years ago, we lost our good friend, Elvis Tribute Artist - Ted Prior. He actually passed from the same disorder my Mom had. Last month, we lost my father-in-law to  Brain Cancer. We also lost local friends and advocates including Gary Panter, Arlene Blosch, and Nancy Seid to name a few.....

So what are we going to do? You also may know that we are on a mission with 21 other charities to launch Ava's Eye Bagz to keep the help going all the time. I know you may have a specific charitable organization you support.... now we can rotate the giving with charities all across the Globe. I am starting with the one near and dear to me ....Brain Cancer.

Here's what we are doing... first, SAVE THE DATE OCT. 6TH for the first annual
DANCE-A-THON for brain Cancer. ( Details will unfold soon)

After the 29th ( of this month) you will be able to submit your registration for the event, purchase sneakers if you like to dance in, and find out all the info at the 4 A STAR site....

Next, we are raising awareness ABOUT the Dance-a-thon with live videos and creating community by taking steps towards a breakthrough !  We want 1 MILLION steps, Calculated yet not counted, between May 29th and Sept. 29th.... Here is how you can get involved !

If you want to create your own recordings and walk.... you MAY have your video selected to be played at the Live Dance-a- thon event.  All you have to do is record what you are doing and send it either by email or flash drive to Mr. Panting at   OR
Mail in your DVD to  :
Prime Storage Care of 4 A STAR
6649 Black Horse Pike
Egg Harbor, Twp., NJ 08234
PMB 18  ( make sure you have this # on it  so it goes into our mailbox)

We are coming to you with these videos from the New Smithville Square Shopping Center-- particularly from the iconic JD's pub !  Check out the new patio.... we love doing events here so stop in and see what they are doing out this way in Galloway, NJ.....

DANCE A THON DATE IS OCT. 6TH

We will also announce on FB and Twitter Where we will be the night before we walk someplace-
so that if you want to join us , you can come out and walk  too !  Just for fun , health and awareness. We won't be walking fast or terribly far each time.... yet it will be a nice walk so we can count steps on our quest for 1 Million steps before the Dance-a-thon !

I can tell you now that this coming Monday, the 29th, we will be walking in New York City....
time  and location will be posted tomorrow eve. on FB.  Most likely it will be around 3:00 in the afternoon . More deets will come tomorrow .  In 2 weeks, we'll be walking in Las Vegas, NV and in August we'll be walking in Dallas, TX at the eWomen Network Conference just to name a few places.  As I said earlier, we will also walk 1/2 of the Ocean City Bridge.... other places we may walk are the Atlantic City Boardwalk, Ocean City Boardwalk and more places will follow !

Summer is coming so let's get moving...what better way to get it going than taking steps with us for Brain Cancer.

Big shout outs to our amazing artist, Terrence Kingg, the "Kingg of Urban Design".
Welcome to the 4 A STAR family...
and to the New "Mr." in town....Mr. Panting  Photo/Video.... without you, none of this would even be possible !  Thank you !

Enjoy !

There's a new "K"id in town......

Hello and good evening....

I'm emphasizing the "K" here as our new "K"id in town is KATHEDRAL.
What Kathedral? Where????

Well, let's start by saying that walking into the main room and seeing the "K"'s all along the wall just warmed my heart.... those of you that know me, know why.... aside from that.... what a great space !!!

From the old St. Martin Catholic Church, built in 1964, to what is now a new kind of event center...Kathedral was born....

Hosting a soft opening and a grand opening just a couple of months ago, the word is already spreading in the South Jersey area about this new and elegant space.

Re-formed inside an abandoned Church, Kathedral now offers up the space for many functions. The most recent has been the Hammonton Chamber of Commerce awards dinner.
Musical acts have included , "Beatlemania, Again" and even some local artists.  Tribute events including Tom and his Neil Diamond show....Gilbert Gottfried in an upcoming show and much more to come....

This space is also perfect for your unique Wedding.... with a private "VlP Loft" overlooking the entire space complete with beautiful lighting and perfect for your wedding ceremony as well.... soon your out of town guests will be able to stay over in rooms to accommodate your setting.

I am so excited about this place, not only for the events it will bring, yet for the work it's going to provide for local artists, event planners-such as myself,  and more attention that will be brought to our area in a positive light.

"Right now it is a BYOB venue", say Manager Andrew, " we plan on having a liquor license in the Fall", he continues.

With off-site catering, snacks, soft drinks and such - no event is off limits to Kathedral.

Kathedral will also be featured as one of stops in the new EYE ON THE SHORE BRIDAL TOUR...

The eye on the shore site is still in set up mode yet you can go there and see how we are planning to set a new tone in the bridal industry...

We are so excited to have Kathedral as part of our inauguration tour ....

In the meantime check out Kathedral on Face Book and of course you can always contact me at for any info on all of our blog posts.....

In the meantime, check out the dinner series at Kathedral with upcoming shows of

Charlie Thomas'  Drifters   June 3rd 6:30-9:30 PM

Dough Church - The True Voice of Elvis   June 24th 6:30-9:30 PM

Tickets include a buffet dinner and can be found on the Kathedral page at Face Book

You will be seeing and hearing a lot more about Kathedral right here....

Enjoy !

Brilliant Women of the BBAC... the first 3....

....and OH, that magic of 3's....

Let me first wish all of you across the Globe a very happy Mother's Day tomorrow !
Let me also say thank you to all of you.... because of YOU.... this blog is now read by over 46,000 people across the World....a few in Russia, a few in France, a few in Germany and even one in Honduras !  Thank you all !!

This week, I am doing a little personal write up on the Brilliant Women of the BBAC, the first 3.
They don't know about the write up... I just feel that this is the right timing to talk about this and call on our power of "3's" as the first 3 Women to be in the BBAC.... Well, even the 3rd one just found out and will receive her award  Feb. 2018 ( This coming Feb. ) on the SMGlobal Catwalk Stage.

So what is the BBAC and why is it important ?  The BBAC stands for Brilliant and Beyond Across the Country ( and even beyond that when possible).
This is something I started last year to recognize Women that are doing amazing things, not just in their own backyards, yet all across the Country and more....
Why is this important?  As I said , at my yearly celebration event last week, people need to know that someone is watching and paying attention to the work we do !  It doesn't matter how you are connected to someone, it matters that they know what they do is important . With tomorrow being Mother's Day, it is so important that we Love, we Laugh and we Live in each positive moment that we can....

So let's meet the first 3 Women of the BBAC !

First, Founder and CEO of eWomen Network and the eWomen Network Foundation
SANDRA YANCEY - the very first inductee into the BBAC

Looking back , it's been quite a number of years since Sandra started networking on Line from a room above her garage in Dallas, Texas. Now Sandra and her husband, Kym, have created one of the largest and most decorated Business Networking organizations in North America.  Today the company is a multi-million dollar enterprise with over 500,000 women connected all over the Globe. This is not only on line, this is with multiple chapters all across the U.S. where dynamic Managing Directors run monthly events to connect us to what we need.... face to face !
Our own Gloria Cirulli runs our Central Jersey chapter and does a fantastic job. Each August, we convene at the eWomen Network International Conference and I'm so looking forward to attending again this year.

Sandra Yancey has been recognized by the    INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN   as one of the World's 100 top Difference makers.  Her efforts with the eWomen Network Foundation has awarded cash grants to 108 non profit organizations and scholarships to 161 emerging female leaders of tomorrow.

With a Masters Degree behind her, through all of her trial and error, Sandra is now also a best selling author, a dynamic speaker and such a great person to know.
You can catch her, if you are here in NJ , at the Success Summit this coming Friday. in Edison....

Visit   for all the details and more...... see the limited edition tour dates and locations..... and find out more about this exciting organization.

Next we have Creative Director of the Atlantic City Ballet Company
PHYLLIS PAPA - Inducted into the BBAC last week at our annual "Cross the Line" event.

Phyllis is no stranger to the stage herself. She started dancing when she was just 5 years old and has danced for such prestigious companies as  THE AMERICAN BALLET THEATER,  THE ROYAL DANISH BALLET  and  THE STARS OF THE AMERICAN BALLET
She has had the honor of dancing for the Shah of Iran, President Lyndon B. Johnson and the King of Denmark.
Phyllis hand picks her dancers from all over the World including Rome, London and New York.
Boardwalk hall, Atlantic City, N.J. , is now the home of the Ballet and Phyllis loves the melting pot of different Countries in her Company.  Coming up on the 35th year of the Company, new and exciting times are ahead for them. With a  tour in the works and some cool surprises in store this year, Phyllis couldn't be more proud of the direction of the Atlantic City Ballet.
Visit them at  for tickets and more information !

And lastly, yet certainly not least, being inducted this coming February as our 3rd Brilliant Woman of the BBAC.... Founder and CEO of the SMGlobal Catwalk and the SMGlobal Foundation....
Executive Technical and Design Consultant at Fashion Tech Design- Founder and President at SMGlobal Catwalk and the SMGlobal Foundation- Fashion Designer....

From Birmingham, U.K. to Dallas, Texas to New York, N.Y. , Samina has made a Global Brand of her designs and her special Catwalk runway shows. Her mission is to help Women and children around the World lead better lives through Education, Training and Empowerment funded through Global Fashion and modeling events.
Samina is the Executive USA partner for TOP INTERNATIONAL MODEL OF THE WORLD based in Romania (  I have a grandparent from Romania , don't see it mentioned that often in my life.)
The 2017 Wold Top Model Competition is in Bulagaria
You can find out all the "deets"  at

I can't think of a more fitting way to get the BBAC off the ground with recognition of these 3 Brilliant Women   Brilliance and Beyond Across the Country !

It is such an honor to know all of you, to work with all of you, to learn from all of you and to live in the moment with all of you ! Thank you all and congratulations on being a part of this journey with me !

....And the Legend Continues....

.... The Herban Legend.....back home in Hammonton............

Good Morning all,

Hope your weekend is filled with love, harmony and a positive outlook now matter what you have planned  !

So how many of you know the Legend Master, Brian K. Johnson, Sr. ?

Well Brian Gets around LOL.... if you haven't seen him organizing and leading the latest drum circle this past month, you may have seen him in your travels. Brian is constantly moving and shaking to keep his positive spirit in the know and in the right place. ! ( I just love that about him)
He is so calm and easy to talk with. Just being around him puts you at ease.

So the Herban Legend Boutuque started in Hammonton, NJ about 12 years ago. One thing lead to another and Brian found himself setting up shop in the quaint area of the Smithville Village.  This location is about 30-35 minutes from the original spot. I met Brian at the Smithville location several years ago and we became fast friends.  I was always drawn to his positive spirit, the beautiful items he had in his boutiques..... essential oils, energy stones, interesting clothing , accessories and more....

I think my story takes you beyond the move.... it doesn't matter where his location is, what matters is what he brings to life.... His platform, if you may, is having a home for Healing Properties, Fair Trade, Social Consciousness and to support local Artisans....\
Last year, Brian did a model campaign on Face Book with local people that had something to say ! It was a beautiful spread.

He is strong on his feeling to stay Metaphysically Grounded and promoting beautiful people and culture is all over his boutique.... One of the Artisans he is showing at his place is local Artist Joyleen Steinen... her work is amazing and you can catch a glimpse here....

You know I'm partial to the one with the "eye" in it  - yet this one below is in Brian's shop and is absolutely amazing ! ( The owl is not part of it, just keeping an "Eye" out....He really doesn't give a HOOT !  Ha Ha )

I am looking forward to embarking on some very interesting projects with Brian , his family and his staff as we explore "Empowerment" and what we can do to make a difference...
If you are in the area, here are a couple of workshops coming up at his boutique - located at :

Herban Legend

What is your Awareness IQ?

Good morning,

Welcome to a special edition of Ava's Allocations as the Balcony Blogger was on location this weekend to cover "SHOP, SELL, STRUT" for Autism New Jersey..... So what do I mean about your Awareness IQ????    Let's first start with some photos.....

Meet Alyssa Lego and Amanda Witowski

Damian Dalleo - 6years old wearing a  Design by IRINA SCHEVAYEVA  Season 6 Winner of Project Runway....

Morgan Kenny- Miss Garden State Jr. Teen

B98.5 Promoter Olivia Lipp

Clothing of Hustle and Spirit..... from Craig and Kenya Linton

D.Monaco Designs of Point Pleasant , NJ

Erika Martin of NBC 10 and Tirusha Dave Media Director/Consultant and Promoter

Wow ! and that is just the beginning of what went on at the beautiful  Lake Terrace in Lakewood , NJ

Now let's go back a little....

14 year old Alyssa Lego  wanted to see change in the Community.... 2 years ago she formed "Hello my name is...." to honor and bring respect to children with special needs.  In partnering with 19 year old Amanda Witowski things couldn't have looked any brighter for the 2 teens. In these 2 years they have aligned themselves with organizations like Autism NJ to effectively initiate that change in the Community that sparked just  a few years ago.... Imagine? 14 and 19 years old.

I had the pleasure of meeting Executive Director for Autism NJ  Susan Buchanan.

So my Awareness IQ brings more to the fact that, hey, we now know about Autism and many other afflictions that people deal with on a day to day basis. We hear and see all the charitable events, commercials, outreach etc.... yet what do we really know behind the scenes... let's show you this particular IQ....

In attendance were not 1, 2, or even 3 yet at least a dozen "Queens" in their own right from pageants all over the region/State . All with crowns, sashes and PLATFORMS.... my favorite part was the WALK OF QUEENS on the special.....

There was Miss Garden State Jr. Teen Morgan Kenny pictured above.... there was National Garden Miss Stephanee Brown, Augustina- Miss NJ Outstanding Teen.... and that's just a few.  Amanda herself was wearing a crown and it was so busy that I did not get to interview Amanda ( another blog for another day)....

Let's talk about Miss Stephanee Brown for a moment

.... Stephanee also has an outreach program....HOPE IN A BLANKET.... She sells hand made crocheted items including flowers ( yep, crocheted flowers).  All the funds go to a local Hospital
( Capital Health Center for Comprehensive Breast Care) in Hopewell, NJ..... Wow !  Stephanee also received an award on the runway for her Community Service.

Next comes the runway, complete with gorgeous models, paparazzi,  A & S sound running the lighting and set up for the runway-- microphones  and the like, DJ Nick and family and fabulous MC's and reporters.... Like the beautiful  Myra Mrowicki, Tiffani D. McLoyd and Of course, myself pictured here with Alyssa---- Yeeeeah ! LOL

My big shout out goes to the parents of Alyssa, Dawn and Mike Lego.... and the others behind the scenes.... What a way to support the dreams of your children ! Take a bow ! To all the amazing designers.... what a great showing !

So ...... point is.... for me....if you have something you are passionate about.... incorporate your peers to help spread your message.... be IN- clusive and not EX- clusive..... How wonderful is it to see this young group changing the World.... enjoy some more photos from the event and stay tuned as we bring you more from Ava's Allocations and the Balcony Blogger !!!!

Enjoy !
