You think you're twisted ???

Hellooooo From Dallas, Y'all !

Being here in the Big "D" is always so special. In conference mode most of the time, I don't get to enjoy the City as much as I'd like to.... we have a plan next year to do more sightseeing !
In the meantime, are you TWISTED?

Take a look at the TWISTED ROOT in one of the coolest places we've seen in Dallas, the town of
Deep Ellum....

Twisted Root Burger Co. is no joke when it comes to good food !  Although some of the signs and pictures inside are really funny, you know by the long lines continually that the food is what people are coming in for.....

Chef Jason and Chef Quincy really take the burgers ( and the food in general ) to a whole new level !
When in Dallas- a must see and do is main street and the Twisted Root Burger Co.
Recommended to us by the magnificent Sandry Yancey, CEO of eWomen Network and located at 2707 Main Street. Those of you that know me best know that it could only have been on a block that starts with 27 !

I also loved the way you went up to the counter, ordered your meal and waited til they called your ticket.... "Judge Judy",  "Halle Berry",  "Elvis", "Will Smith"  and mine which tonight was....

Twisted Root opened in 2006 and was featured on the famous Diners Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri in its 2nd Season.

All The toppings and condiments are made in house and the buns are direct from a local bakery. Makes for some good eats.
According to the chef's the only thing they take seriously is the food !

I even found ELVIS on the wall .... ( and on the menu....)

These trained chefs met in culinary school and worked their way up to the Four Seasons and Pappas Bros kitchens...today you can still find them "Chopping Onions and Kissing Babies", they say....
so make sure you are on the look out for Chef Jason and Chef Quincy when you come to visit.

With 20 locations around the U.S. find  them and have a burger or two.... They even have gluten free bread if you so desire....I just loved the fried veggies too ....YUM !
We enjoyed our first visit to the Twisted Root and look forward to visiting again, maybe even in some of the other locations.... \

Definitely a 4 napkin burger  !

Enjoy !
