How do you "Meet in the Middle" ?

Hellooooo.....

Wow ! Crazy email set ups. Not sure what I did yet sometimes I can't get into this page right away.... something to look into .....

So I have a group of 4 of us that connected through eWomenNetwork in some way shape or form and we have become close friends. We've been through a lot of things together including the passing of one of our dearest friends....... we try to get together whenever our schedules allow and that is usually once or twice a year on a personal meeting. We meet at other times for business yet we love sharing our personal time together..... this was one of our discussions last night at dinner.... We talked a lot about blogging yet the topic came around to MEETING IN THE MIDDLE.  What does that mean to YOU?

So we meet almost exactly in the middle for all of us.... sometimes, one drives a little further than the other and vice versa. We meet in the middle to make sure what we do stays together. Our friendships, our discussions both business and personal, our enlightenment of working towards common goals in life......

Do you meet your clients in the middle? Are you able to open up and  listen to what they say?  Listening is a skill that is so important in our everyday lives. Today, more than ever, we need to LISTEN to others. We need to be open, compassionate and understanding. Does this mean we always agree? Heck no !  The idea is for both sides, all sides, to listen and to be open to meeting in the middle.  Compromise should be a win win for all concerned.

To stay strong, to stay alert and aware, to stay on top of things and be the true intent of your being..... you need to MEET IN THE MIDDLE.  ( If you don't already)
So we drive to dinner and meet in the middle. We consult with clients and meet in the middle. We teach and learn from our children by meeting in the middle.  That middle is so important. It's where things can grow and change in a positive way. It's where ideas come together, spread together and create change.  Don't miss the boat by  talking over yourself, by walking away and by not willing to take a drive to keep connected.  MEET IN THE MIDDLE and see what happens....

Thank you my good friends....You can find these wonderful ladies on FaceBook or reach out to me...

Great post Ava! I was nice to see you and Ana. Looking forward to when the 4 of us can meet...in the middle. Reading your pot brought up thought that I USED to have about feeling STUCK in the middle...this, apparently was a 'perception' of the situations that I found myself in/involved with. Looking at the situations with a NEW persepective, I can see that as long as I was in the middle of my own life. business, relationships, I was fine....if I was in the middle of someone elses...it was usually drama or 'none of my business' (literally and figuratively) See you soon xox
